well yes Craig made the All Star team.... we are so proud of his hard work...He is an amazing baseball player! A guy was scouting for good players and asked if Craig would play on a traveling all star team..so we are pretty excited about that.....It is very competitive...which is good. Craig plays competitively..its all in his head what he is gonna do next:)
as for the surprise all star team....well........... our coach was pretty much a moron who thought he was WAY better than anyone else and spoke to you in that way.... Not too fond of him..He did lame practices and when we played today..it showed.....
We seriously got killed in our first game...13 to ZERO..... yep we got no points..what a bummer!! It was 110 degrees out and half the kids on the team didnt know where to throw the ball to make a play (kinda sad) we were a little annoyed but oh well... Now dont get me wrong I know they are kids... but when you're going for state..its not an "everyone plays" situation anymore....And if you have seen Craig play..he is serious about the game...and thinks a lot about where he will make a play.. he works very hard to get better... He did so well tonight I am so proud of him... He had 2 amazing hits to the outfield and got his team 4 runs... (they only had 7 total at the end of the game) He also pitched and did great!!! All the kids were so excited to play and that is so great... even though they lost they should all be happy they made the team.... They all got uniforms minus the Jersey (which was available for purchase only $70!..we passed on that!) , team pics and hats too....
